For Arborists in Richardson
Using certified arborists in Richardson is important because of microenvironments. An arborist who works daily in Richardson will know the trees in that community. As they zig zag between job sites through the neighborhood they will notice trees and patterns in your area. Most importantly they will know the soil in that area and how this soil type may benefit or hurt your tree in Richardson. Local certified arborists will also know disease and insects active in your area.

Driving around the community and talking about trees with our neighbors is the best. I love what I do. I have been an arborist with Texas Tree Surgeons for the last 9 years.
I enjoy being at the lake, doing anything outdoors, baking, and watching panda videos on instagram. Pandas, and trees, make everything better.

In 2008, Board Certified Master Arborist Amy Langbein Heath got a call from a friend working in Richardson. He was slowly watching all the trees outside of his office window dying. He said that many other companies had been out to look at the trees and no one could figure out what was happening. The office complex was covered in mature live oaks that were showing signs of stress, defoliation, and die-back. Amy sent a sample off to the Texas A&M Plant Pathology Diagnostic Lab and confirmed that the tree had oak wilt. While some of the trees could be saved, many have since died. Oak wilt management is costly and complicated, and once trees are infected, there is no proven cure. Prevention is the best approach, by following proper oak pruning protocols and closely monitoring trees in oak wilt areas.
