LOOKING FOR RICHARDSON TREE SERVICE? YOU FOUND IT.

Trusted Richardson Tree Service

We have been providing Richardson tree trimming for over 20 years. We recently changed our name to Texas Tree Surgeons to better reflect our service area, but we’re still the same great people!

We provide full-service Richardson tree care. Our certified arborists love trees, and love to help tree owners take the best care of them. We can help you choose the right tree to plant. We can help you take care of those trees. And we can help you remove a tree when it’s time.

If you need tree trimming in Richardson, we have the experience, and the stories to prove it:

Oak Wilt in Richardson

In 2008, Board Certified Master Arborist Amy Langbein Heath got a call from a friend working in Richardson. He was slowly watching all the trees outside of his office window dying. He said that many other companies had been out to look at the trees and no one could figure out what was happening. The office complex was covered in mature live oaks that were showing signs of stress, defoliation, and die-back.  Amy sent a sample off to the Texas A&M Plant Pathology Diagnostic Lab and confirmed that the tree had oak wilt. While some of the trees could be saved, many have since died. Oak wilt management is costly and complicated, and once trees are infected, there is no proven cure. Prevention is the best approach, by following proper oak pruning protocols and closely monitoring trees in oak wilt areas.

Richardson Commercial Tree Care

The University of Texas at Dallas is a Richardson institution and one of our favorite places to work. UTD has made the trees on its campus a priority: if one tree dies, they replace it with two new ones. The Richardson campus has nearly 7,000 trees, featuring more than 60 different species. UTD has been designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Additionally, UTD is also a Bee Campus USA for its commitment to planting bee-friendly pollinators and emphasizing bee conservation. Taking a page from UTD’s guidebook, the City of Richardson has initiated its own programs to develop its urban forest.

Whether your trees are big or small, on residential or commercial property, we can help you care for them. Contact us today to set up an arborist consultation or a free estimate!

Great crew and great results! I called, their arborist was out the next day, then the crew was out the day after that. They worked quickly and cleaned up even better than before they showed up. Very fairly priced and worth every penny. Highly recommend!
