Steve Barrett and Tree Surgeons were incredibly impressive. In a time when someone could easily be taken advantage of, Steve was honest and forthright. He worked with my mother to make sure she would be safe in her house until the tree was removed. The crew were friendly and efficient. I can’t recommend them enough.

I've used Texas Surgeons in the past , so I had no reservations in calling them again when I needed to have a damaged red oak removed from my front yard. As expected, the crew showed up the next afternoon and whickly removed the tree. The stump grinder arrived after a day nad the stump was gone within an hour, with minimal cleanup needed afterwards. Once management reviewed the circumstances of our experience with their company, we got an apology from them and they asked if we would allow them to fulfill their commitment at no charge to us. They scheduled us the next day and their crew showed up right on time. Omar, Carlos and Carlos (yes, two guys named Carlos!) worked quickly and efficiently, trimmed our Crepe Myrtle beautifully, and disposed of all debris. Shortly after they left, Bryan, the arborist with whom we scheduled the service, came by our house to inspect the work and to make sure we were pleased with the outcome. We assured him that, not only are we pleased, we will ask for Omar, Carlos and Carlos for our next tree service! Texas Tree Surgeons arrived on time and went to work. High branches were roped down safely to avoid power lines as these were huge trees. Smaller branches were chipped up and hauled away, and larger pieces were taken away. Workers were professional, courteous and extremely hard working. I hired Texas Tree Surgeons because I wanted a certified Arborist and not someone who simply called themselves a "Arborist" but only knew how to use a chainsaw to hack off limbs with no regard for tree health.

Will King (Certified Arborist) came out in March 2025 to give me a quote for the work, and due to having live oak trees in front, it was decided to wait until July 2025 to avoid issues with Live Oak Wilt Disease.

Yesterday, the great crew from Texas Tree Surgeons arrived and did a fantastic job of removing overgrowth and did interior thinning to improve the health of the trees as well as allow a bit more sunlight to reach my shaded grass areas.

The crew did an excellent job in cleaning up to include bring a wood chipper to dispose all the cut branches.

I cannot imagine a better tree service. We've had Texas Tree Surgeons trim our trees for years. Last year we used them for cabling two live oaks, including one we are trying to save from 2021 winter storm damage. Despite the winds we've experienced this year and last, the trees have shown remarkable stability. Today's job was removing three large dead limbs over our neighbors' properties and they beautifully shaped our overgrown Nellie R. Stevens hollies.
