We have an older home with massive trees, live oak, magnolia, pines, pecan, elms, etc. Texas Tree Surgeons has been caring for our trees for years. When they trim the trees, they bring a wood chipper and a team of men to leaf blow and remove all traces of anyone being there. Nothing is left on the sidewalk. Usually looks better after they leave than when they arrived. They have installed steel cables into our live oak to ensure it has the best chance of surviving storms as the branches are incredibly long and massive. They have kept our pine healthy and has survived our crazy weather. They have an arborist who visits with us to make sure the trees are well taken care of. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Very happy! Knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Also very quick response, got a quote by end of the week and the crew was available the next Monday. They were polite and communicated clearly to make sure my requests were met, checked in to make sure how far they limbed up trees in the front was what I wanted while also advising me. They were very careful about not hurting smaller trees and plants under the trees, some of which are fairly expensive maples. Cleaned up everything well when they were done. Tree maintenance is pretty expensive with most crews that don't have deeper knowledge of trees also quoting high prices. The other quote I got appeared to be as such, and expressed lot of concern that I was asking them to be careful not to hurt the maples. And their quote seemed very high. I was pleasantly surprised that Texas Tree Surgeons quote was half that, and Andy seemed knowledgeable about the tree structures and what is / isn't necessary to make sure they meet city code and where limbs may get close to the home. I will certainly be going back to them the next time I need tree work.

We got our trees trimmed with Tree Surgeon. Some of our trees were coming very close to the house & some needed some gentle pruning. Scheduling appointment with Tree Surgeon by phone was very easy. Arborist Emily came over to take a look at the trres that needed trimming. We had concern about one of the tree that was affected by 2021 storms. I recently purchased a home with 5 mature trees on the property. Arborist Will came out for a consultation. He was knowledgeable and professional, and he gave me a realistic approach for what would be best for the trees - how much to cut, where, and when. We took care of two trees that would be ideal to trim now, and we have a plan for the other three trees for later this year when it would be ideal to trim them to keep them healthy.

We walked thru the planned work and then they got busy. They raised the canopy from the ground to 10 feet on 6 big cedars and cut down 7 dead trees. This is the third year I’ve used Texas Tree Surgeons to do yearly maintenance on two live oak trees. This team has exceeded my expectations every time. Each time I have received a professional evaluation and recommendation of the work based on the conditions of the trees and city code requirements. Within a couple days of the quote, the work is completed to the specifications. The cleanup afterwards is perfect, it’s like they weren’t even there. The cost has always been fair and reasonable. Texas Tree Surgeons have pruned my trees multiple times over the years, and they always do a fantastic job. They send a tree arborist out first to evaluate your tree(s) and recommend what pruning should be done. Then they send a quote via email, and after that you can make the decision to schedule them to actually come do the pruning. An entire crew comes out, and they work like a well oiled machine! Some up in the tree with a chain saw, some on the ground pruning with a pole saw, and some cleaning up the branches as they fall. They are in and out so quick with no mess left behind! I will continue to recommend Texas Tree Surgeons to anyone for the quality work they have provided time and time again.

Had a large majestic ceder elm so infested with mistletoe that we thought it would die. Emily provided a treatment plan that may actually save the tree. Phase one was to remove the mistletoe and prune as necessary. Her team did an awesome job removing the mistletoe and pruning the tree. Now, phase two will take a while in that they are feeding the tree to help the tree's immune system fight off the mistletoe. No guarantee the tree will live, but we believe Emily is giving us the best chance for it to survive. These folks know what they are doing and greatly exceeded our expectations.

We have used Texas Tree Surgeons several times and are 100% pleased! And not near the cost we expected, to have a CERTIFIED ARBORIST come out at no charge and no obligation, to look at the health of our trees, and set up a plan for which branches need to go for the tree's health, away from roof shingles etc, AND to balance tree (not just for looks, but for ability to hold up in storms so it's not unevenly weighted on one side). The skilled trimmers follow up a few days later with a crew who follows the arborist's plan.

I’ve used them multiple times to trim my trees and they have always been fast, efficient, and do a great job of cleaning up.
This last time, one of the crew accidentally stepped down on an external pipe for my hose.
It broke and water gushed. They worked quickly to shut off the water and replace the broken pipe.
We discovered quite a while later (a lots of water) that the pipe had actually also broken lower down in the ground than what had been released. As soon as I alerted them to the problem, they promptly came out and resolved the issue. They also covered a bit of the larger water bill. I was hesitant to ask for this because it was an uncomfortable ask and I like them so didn’t want to eat into profits. But the owner, Amy was very kind, understanding, and easily agreed.
I would recommend them over and over again. Sometimes it feels hard to find companies with a conscience. The one can be trusted AND they do a great job.

I cannot imagine a better tree service. We've had Texas Tree Surgeons trim our trees for years. Last year we used them for cabling two live oaks, including one we are trying to save from 2021 winter storm damage. Despite the winds we've experienced this year and last, the trees have shown remarkable stability. Today's job was removing three large dead limbs over our neighbors' properties and they beautifully shaped our overgrown Nellie R. Stevens hollies. I use Texas a Tree Surgeons for my semi-annual service after I had them do a thorough thinning of the canopy on 2 very old, very tall cedar elms. The trees are in a tight spot but they managed the job well. They are courteous, knowledgeable, prompt and helpful. I’d recommend them for any tree service you might have.
