After observing some tree limbs that looked questionable, I researched tree specialists that cared about trees-not just a tree trimming company. I decided on Texas Tree Surgeons, after reading about them and seeing that they had more than just one or two certified tree specialists on staff. Kelly came out to evaluate our trees and made his recommendation. We agreed to the quote, and a great team was sent out to perform the work. They were careful to guide the branches down away from the house to avoid damage, worked quickly, and cleaned everything up when the work was completed. Kelly came back to evaluate the trim work and see if we were satisfied with everything or if they needed to send the team out again. After discussing with him, we were happy with the end result. Online payment of the bill was quick and easy, and we didn't have to jump through hoops or pay an exorbitant processing fee to pay with our credit card. We will absolutely be calling them for any tree work we need performed in the future!

Emily and her team are incredibly knowledgeable and professional. They have helped us keep a very stressed (perhaps lightning-struck) 30+ year old red oak that looked like it may need to be cut down: after 3 years under their care, its canopy is still full of leaves and the trunk scar is closing. She also advised us to cut back low, hanging branches of our 30+ year old Bradford pear tree: they have cut back the tree twice in 3 years and we haven't had any big branches break off during the heavy wind and rain storms in our area - and no ensuing damage to fences, roofs, etc. Finally in the annual inspection of the two aforementioned trees, she provided information for caring for our newly planted trees. Used them several times. They are very responsive. They did a great job and cleaned up everything! Cleaned up a lot of dead stuff after the memorial day storm....cleared the tree nicely.

We had a limb we noticed hanging really low on our backyard’s statement cedar elm. When we crawled up to look at it, we realized it had split. We immediately reached out to see if we could get it saved. TTS was able to come out same-day to look at it. Unfortunately, that limb wasn’t able to be saved. They scheduled us for removal in the next few days. We were really nervous it was going to break in the strong April winds, because it was swaying a LOT and we have small dogs we didn’t want to be hurt by a falling limb. When I explained this, they immediately moved us up and had the limb removed in the next few hours. I can’t recommend them enough. We realize we aren’t their only customers and greatly appreciate them being able to recognize our panic and fit us in.

Anything to do with trees on a property for the uninformed feels overwhelming. The good people at Texas Tree Surgeons walked my wife and I through what they recommended be done with our potential problems, then showed up when they said they would, did the work quickly, and left me a happy customer.

I would highly recommend Texas Tree Surgeons! The process to set up an appointment for an evaluation of the work and proposal was incredibly easy with everything being online (through the site and over email). I also appreciate that they have arborists on staff to assess the situation and protect the integrity of the trees. I thought my job was going to be much more substantial, but after going through the evaluation and spending time talking about the various trees I have, I learned it was not nearly as much which was a huge relief. The crew themselves did a great job and walked through what needed to be done to make sure we were on the same page. They cleaned up everything after they were done and hauled it off which was nice not needing to coordinate around bulk pickup. Only critique would be that they didn't start until early evening so by the time they were done, it was already totally dark so we couldn't do more of a formal walkthrough to show everything they did. Everything looked great the next morning, but would have preferred they come earlier in the day. I don't think this is common and sounds like it was due to another job running long. Otherwise, everything was great and will definitely work with them again!

I have used Texas Tree Surgeons for years now. They are so easy to work with, will answer any question, and do a beautiful job. Most recently, besides trimming my trees, they also removed a dead tree and did the stump grinding. You cannot even tell that a tree was removed from my yard. I highly recommend them!

Great master arborist, Emily, that has been a wonderful resource for our trees. The trees have been stressed from the weather conditions over the last couple of years and unfortunately we lost the battle to a fungus. It had to be taken down. The guys did a great job removing the tree without disturbing the surrounding plants. We will be replacing the tree with another tree later this year with the help and recommendation from Emily.

I have used Texas Tree Surgeons since 2021. When I purchased my home there were a number of trees that needed cutting down. One was a pecan that was so close to the house previous owners had at one time cut out the roof to accommodate it. They did an excellent job removing this huge tree and all the others. I have recommended to neighbors who now only use them. They are the very best!

I appreciated the on-time arrival, and was relieved to hear the tree was not in as desperate shape as I feared. We can wait and see until mid-summer and reassess.

I have been using Tree Surgeons for years. Their Arborist is incredibly knowledgeable and has kept my pine tree, Live Oak and Magnolia looking beautiful. They installed steel cables in my live oak to strengthen the limbs to withstand our terrible storms. And they do all of my tree trimming. When they trim your trees, they also provide tree mulching and leaf blow everything they do. You can't even tell someone was there that day doing tree work. Highly recommend!

Put in my address, photo of the area of work, description, and received a quote and had services done in the same week. Easy to schedule payment. Texas Tree Surgeons provided tree removal, stump grinding, and haul away of mulch left over from the stump grinding. The previous owners of my home had left several stumps in the yard that were tripping hazards. With Texas Tree Surgeons' help, the small existing tree that was dangerously close to my roof and foundation has been taken care of, and the yard now looks clean, and there are no hazardous stumps as landscaping eyesores.

Great work on a difficult and dangerous branch removal over a power line. My main tree of about 20 large trees is in decline and Texas Tree Surgeons is helping to prolong its beautiful life with masterful pruning, retaining a nice shape despite significant loss of limbs. Watching them work is fascinating. The speed, care, teamwork and cleanup are really great! My previous tree guys would drop pieces so large that they actually broke a hole in my driveway, but Texas Tree Surgeons' experts would carefully lower the large pieces. And they came out the next day, allaying my concern about the large limb hanging over my power line.

I've used this company for several years to maintain two mature red oak trees in front of my home. They prune and clean both trees carefully so that they are kept healthy, the branches do not touch my roof, and are well above the street for trucks to pass. They work their magic every time and I keep calling them back. Emily listens to my concerns and is very easy to work with. I trust her and her team to take care of my trees.

Sometimes they feel a little pricey compared to other estimates I've gotten, but the work speaks for itself. You definitely get what you pay for.

They have a fully licensed arborist come out and survey first and answer all your questions which is great. They confirm exactly what you want and then schedule the appointment from there.

I cannot imagine a better tree service. We've had Texas Tree Surgeons trim our trees for years. Last year we used them for cabling two live oaks, including one we are trying to save from 2021 winter storm damage. Despite the winds we've experienced this year and last, the trees have shown remarkable stability. Today's job was removing three large dead limbs over our neighbors' properties and they beautifully shaped our overgrown Nellie R. Stevens hollies. They were on time, reasonable, and as attentive on a small job as a large one.
