Texas Tree Surgeons have pruned my trees multiple times over the years, and they always do a fantastic job. They send a tree arborist out first to evaluate your tree(s) and recommend what pruning should be done. Then they send a quote via email, and after that you can make the decision to schedule them to actually come do the pruning. An entire crew comes out, and they work like a well oiled machine! Some up in the tree with a chain saw, some on the ground pruning with a pole saw, and some cleaning up the branches as they fall. They are in and out so quick with no mess left behind! I will continue to recommend Texas Tree Surgeons to anyone for the quality work they have provided time and time again.

Had a large majestic ceder elm so infested with mistletoe that we thought it would die. Emily provided a treatment plan that may actually save the tree. Phase one was to remove the mistletoe and prune as necessary. Her team did an awesome job removing the mistletoe and pruning the tree. Now, phase two will take a while in that they are feeding the tree to help the tree's immune system fight off the mistletoe. No guarantee the tree will live, but we believe Emily is giving us the best chance for it to survive. These folks know what they are doing and greatly exceeded our expectations.

We have used Texas Tree Surgeons several times and are 100% pleased! And not near the cost we expected, to have a CERTIFIED ARBORIST come out at no charge and no obligation, to look at the health of our trees, and set up a plan for which branches need to go for the tree's health, away from roof shingles etc, AND to balance tree (not just for looks, but for ability to hold up in storms so it's not unevenly weighted on one side). The skilled trimmers follow up a few days later with a crew who follows the arborist's plan.

I’ve used them multiple times to trim my trees and they have always been fast, efficient, and do a great job of cleaning up.
This last time, one of the crew accidentally stepped down on an external pipe for my hose.
It broke and water gushed. They worked quickly to shut off the water and replace the broken pipe.
We discovered quite a while later (a lots of water) that the pipe had actually also broken lower down in the ground than what had been released. As soon as I alerted them to the problem, they promptly came out and resolved the issue. They also covered a bit of the larger water bill. I was hesitant to ask for this because it was an uncomfortable ask and I like them so didn’t want to eat into profits. But the owner, Amy was very kind, understanding, and easily agreed.
I would recommend them over and over again. Sometimes it feels hard to find companies with a conscience. The one can be trusted AND they do a great job.

We used TTS last year to remove a dead tree and didn’t hesitate to call them again. Emily came out to look at our beloved backyard fruitless mulberry, which had taken some damage in the recent ice storm. Since it’s getting older for its species, she recommended removing the dead limbs and pruning back some of the excess weight. She also gave us helpful tips on how to water it more effectively now that most of the yard has artificial turf (thanks to our dogs).
We originally scheduled the crew for Monday, but they had an opening and were able to come out the same day. The crew was incredibly efficient— they trimmed everything, moved the debris to the curb for pickup, and did a fantastic job cleaning up afterward. They raked and used a leaf blower to clear all the sticks and sawdust. The whole job took a little over an hour, and we were genuinely impressed.

Steve was very professional, knowledgeable and gave me great advice. He also met the crew to make sure they understood what needed to be done. The crew did an impressive job correcting alot of bad cuts made from prior work I had done from another company.

The crew was here this morning (1/31/26) right after 8a and got to work immediately. Nobody was just standing around and on their phones. That's never a good look for a service provider. Omar (the crew leader) is Mr. Customer Service. He addressed all my concerns and made some of the cuts and explained why others I pointed out were not recommended. I was talking to a neighbor during the work and he swears by these folks. They saved a tree of his that was hit hard in the 2021 Snowmeggadon. Great service, great outcome, and a very competitive price. These folks are my new tree service. Have already recommended them to two other folks.

We had a wonderful experience with Texas Tree Surgeons. Our neighbor recommended them to us, and he was right. Communication was great. Even with an appointment, they to update us about time of arrival. Kay answered all our concerns when she came to give us the estimate. And the crew was great. They removed some breakable pots from the area which I should have taken care of before. They were efficient and experienced. I never feared for an nearby tree, an arbor, or the roof of my home. They hauled off all the branches and raked the fallen twigs. We would definitley call them again.

Texas Tree Surgeons quoted promptly, and trimmed a 40' and a 20' tree for me very timely, as well as several trees for 2 of my neighbors on the same day. They also cleaned up the fallen leaves and limbs after their work. I'll be calling them again the next time I need trimming.

The company's communication has been top-notch! Shannon from the administrative staff deserves special recognition - she's been very responsive and easy to work with. The Arb Will responded promptly to my inquiry as well. Their cut-and-trimming service was quick; they removed all the branches. While I appreciated their efficiency, I did wish they could have done a better job of cleaning up, especially when it came to leaves on the sidewalk. Unfortunately, some dirt remained on the sidewalk after the grinding process.

I've used this company for several years (since 2019) to maintain two mature red oak trees in front of my home. They prune and clean both trees carefully so that they are kept healthy, the branches do not touch my roof, and are well above the street for trucks to pass. By far the best tree service I’ve ever had! I have a 30-year-old oak tree that I grew from an acorn and it is like a family member! I was so thrilled to find an actual arborist who knew how to trim it properly! They were also honest enough to tell me that my crêpe myrtles did not need to be trimmed, and I am sure other companies would have just gone ahead and trimmed them and charge me for it. Last but certainly not least, I realize I have been charged exorbitant prices in the past by people who did not know how to trim my trees. Their pricing was less than half of what I paid last year for someone who did a lousy job. I highly recommend Texas tree surgeons and I will not have anyone else trim my trees in the future.

We had Texas Tree Surgeons out to remove mistletoe from a 30' tree. Will came out, looked at the tree and sent me a very resonable quote. I accepted the quote and they came out the next week. They removed the mistletoe from the tree and cleaned everything up. It was quite a sight to see them effortlessly climb up the tree to remove the mistletoe near the top of the tree. I'm very satisfied and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I initially called a different company who was very pushy and told me my 60 ft Oak tree needed to be cut down which I was hesitant about. After another price they threw at me for trimming, I did some research and decided to get the opinion of Tree Tree Surgeons after seeing their 1100 reviews on Google. I now understand why so many customers choose them. Steve Barrett came out and gave me a no-scare-tactic description of his recommendation. He told me his honest opinions and was glad I decided to get another perspective because he really didn't want to see the Oak get cut down. I approved the bid and within the week the team that showed up cleaned up three trees and hauled off everything for about 1/3th of what the other fear mongering company was going to charge. I cannot imagine a better tree service. We've had Texas Tree Surgeons trim our trees for years. Last year we used them for cabling two live oaks, including one we are trying to save from 2021 winter storm damage. Despite the winds we've experienced this year and last, the trees have shown remarkable stability. Today's job was removing three large dead limbs over our neighbors' properties and they beautifully shaped our overgrown Nellie R. Stevens hollies.
