How to Contact Us

After an extreme weather event the quickest way to get in queue is to fill out the emergency form on our website or to email office@texastreesurgeons due to the high volume of calls. This ensures that all requests are timestamped and we can move through customers as quickly and fairly as possible.

When to Expect an Arborist

We are dispatching arborists to emergency removals in the order we receive requests through email or our website.  Please do not submit multiple requests, we promise once we have received your information online you will be contacted promptly.

Our office is handling all scheduling requests, please let our arborists focus their time on estimates so they can assist as many customers as possible. Our office staff will let you know when to expect an arborist visit.

When to Expect a Crew

Once you have had an arborist visit and you have approved the bid submitted you should expect a crew to arrive as quickly and as safely as possible. Some areas hit hardest by the storms are still inaccessible, and there may be delays in providing service to that zone. We are doing our best to maximize the amount of customers we help per day. We are currently working Monday – Saturday.

How We Work

Our process is completely paperless, and can be completed online. To get a better understanding of our typical work flow please visit this link: https://texastreesurgeons.com/how-we-work/

Cancellation or Change in Work Orders

If for some reason after you have approved the bid and decide to cancel after the crew has arrived to your home you will be billed 10% of the bid.

Haul Off

At Texas Tree Surgeons, our standard Work Proposals include full cleanup and debris haul-off. Unfortunately during storm periods there is so much debris there is limited access to where we can take it. During emergencies we will be not removing any debris. Our priority currently is safely removing trees. If you would like more info about debris haul off during storm emergencies please read our blog.

When Every Second Counts

Emergency Tree Work

HIGHLY SKILLED CLIMBERS

Our crews are comprised of individuals with different areas of expertise. Our highly skilled climbers use several types of PPE to keep them safe while in the canopies of the trees.

INSURED AND BONDED

Our crews work together to come up with the best plan to safely remove trees from a site. All of our employees train under a Certified Arborist to ensure best practices are always followed.

CLIMBING LINE & DRT

Safety for our climbers and your property is important to us at Texas Tree Surgeons. Our climbers use climbing line (specially designed rope) and use DRT (Double Rope Technique) to help them move safely within the tree canopy.

WHY USE A CRANE FOR TREE REMOVAL

What determines if a crane should be used over climbers is when; root rots such as Ganoderma or Kretzchmaria make the tree weak and structurally unsound, splitting, hornets living inside the hollow,  or a tree to far gone from Hypoxylon Canker.

Foremen and arborist reviewing plans for emergency tree work on a red oak whose limb fell onto a carport.
TEAMWORK

Our arborist and foremen work together to ensure work done on your trees is done correctly and safely. Our entire team; arborists, foremen, and groundsmen strictly follow TCIA and ISA guidelines.

RED OAK LIMB SECURED WITH LINE

A customer's red oak tree's limb failed and fell onto the homeowners steel carport. This large limb blocked the driveway and was hanging into the neighbors yard. Raul and his crew worked together to remove the limb safely and quickly without the aide of a crane. Cranes are sometimes used when trees are deemed too unsafe to climb. Issues with cranes is that they require a lost of space and increase the price of tree work.

ACCESSING DAMAGE

Understanding and evaluating weakness in the tree prior to doing emergency tree work is important to know because it will eliminate further risk to property and workers during the process. Trees with different defects need to be removed differently for safety. Our foremen have the expertise in determining if we can safely remove broken limbs or trees without a crane.

Safety for our climbers and your property is important to us at Texas Tree Surgeons. Our climbers use climbing line (specially designed rope) and use DRT (Double Rope Technique) to help them move safely within the tree canopy.
CLIMBING LINE & DRT

Safety for our climbers and your property is important to us at Texas Tree Surgeons. When damage has already incurred from limb failure it is important to mitigate further damage. Our climbers use climbing line (specially designed rope) and use DRT (Double Rope Technique) to help them move safely and support broken limbs so they can be safely lowered with control.

EXPERIENCED CLIMBERS

At Texas Tree Surgeons we specialize in working with experienced climbers that are able to make very specific controlled cuts to maintain safety and reduce damage. Most of our foremen have been with Texas Tree Surgeons for over a decade.

LOWERING LIMB WITH CONTROL

Our foremen Raul and his crew lowering a massive red oak limb that had fallen on top of a carport. To be able to lower the limb with control Raul secured the limb with rope, removed excess weight, and cut notches at the break point.

I've used Texas Tree Surgeons numerous times, for tree trimming, fallen limb removal, tree stump grinding, and general tree maintenance. They are responsive, competitively / reasonably priced, and professional. The team is easy to work with and upfront about cost. They have certified arborists on staff who provide expertise and suggestions as to when and how to trim different tree types.

We were very impressed with their tree trimming crew. They scaled our old, tall oak trees with ropes and removed problem limbs and dead undergrowth without misshaping the tree canopies. More needed removing than we realized until we saw all of the limbs on the ground in our front and back yards. It looked like a mess on the ground but they brought a wood chipper with them and cleaned up every single limb and twig. The yard was so clean afterward, it looked like landscapers had been there! Very professional.
Response from the owner:Thank you for the kind words. We take pride that our team provides tidy, and professional tree services to our customers. Our goal is to always leave our customers property looking naturally beautiful, and like we were never there. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We ❤️🌳 and happy customers!

From start to finish, Texas Tree Surgeons did a great job. The Arborist was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She explained the process and gathered our requests. The next day, the army showed up and worked their tails off. They followed the Arborist’s instructions and also took our input. They finished 3 very large trees, including clean-up (you’d never know they were here), including just under 1 hour.
Response from the owner:Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Our ISA certified arborists deeply care about doing what's best for trees by taking the time to assess and offering services that benefit the trees health while also protecting personal property. We are so happy that you were completely satisfied with how your trees look. Our goal is to always leave trees looking naturally beautiful and structurally strong. We ❤️🌳 and happy customers!

Super impressed with the professionalism of this group. Very patient with all of my questions because I really love my 75+ year-old trees. Great follow up and they do what they say. They’re going to do. I normally don’t let anyone put a sign in my yard to advertise, but I’m leaving it there for a few days because I hope they get more business this way.. Highly recommend go girl power TOO.

I continue to use this company for my tree trimming and removal. I needed to have a palm tree trimmed. Another company quoted me $1500, while Texas Tree Surgeon came in at a very reasonable $250. Took them about 20 minutes start to finish and they hauled away the dead fronds.
Response from the owner:We take pride in being honest and fair. We believe in giving quality care, and trimming a tree to optimize its health, not optimize the amount we can bill. We ❤️🌳 and happy customers!
