Steps to Become a Designated Arbor Day Foundation Tree Campus Healthcare
To become designated as an Arbor Day foundation Tree Campus Healthcare your facility will need to accomplish the following five program standards:
- Establish an Advisory Committee of at least three stakeholders, including staff and community members.
- Develop a Tree Care Plan tailored to healthcare contexts.
- Undertake a Community Forestry Project to engage patients and staff.
- Organize Educational or Celebration Events, such as Arbor Day programming.
- Commit to a Financial Investment in tree-related activities.
